Dr. Sharpless has been a board certified surgeon since 1994 with both the American College of Surgery and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Following the completion of her specialty fellowship training at the University of Illinois, she entered private practice as a surgical oncologist (cancer surgeon), first in group practice and now as a solo practitioner. She is dedicated to giving high-quality, compassionate care to each patient she serves.

Since 1998, she had provided cancer surgery consultations to patients in the Chicagoland area, surrounding states and from across the country. She performs surgery at Advocate Condell Medical Center and does small procedures out of her Lake Forest office location.

Many patients prefer their care in a smaller, intimate environment rather than a large hospital where care can become impersonal. Our office provides an alternative to this high pressure approach to care.
